Shrove Tuesday Festival

Tuesday, March 4, 2025
5:30 - 7:30 pm, Parish Hall

Join us on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, for a fun-filled evening of food, music, and community at our annual Shrove Tuesday Festival! This year, we’re excited to offer a variety of activities for all ages, including:

  • Pancake Supper: Enjoy a delicious stack of pancakes to kick off the festivities.

  • Gumbo Cook-Off: Calling all gumbo chefs! Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just love making your favorite gumbo recipe, we want to taste it! We’re welcoming all types of gumbo, from seafood and chicken to vegetarian and alpha-gal friendly variations. If you’d like to compete, please sign up and let us know what kind of gumbo you’ll be bringing. We can’t wait to try your culinary creations and crown the best gumbo in town! Sign up here.

  • Music: Enjoy live tunes and vibrant entertainment throughout the evening.

  • Palm Burning: A traditional activity to mark the beginning of Lent.

The evening will be full of excitement, and we hope to see you there. A $10 suggested donation will benefit Community Meals.

Don’t miss out on this wonderful event—bring your family, friends, and appetite for a great time!
