Justice for All Ministry Events June

St. Paul’s Justice for All Ministry is hosting two important events this June in partnership with Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition and Legal Aid of Arkansas. Both efforts aim to reduce the long-term impact of legal and financial barriers that disproportionately affect our neighbors in need.

June 10 – Record Sealing Clinic (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Parish Hall)
Having a criminal record—no matter how old—can make it difficult to secure employment, housing, or even pursue education. This clinic will assist individuals who have completed their court obligations in the legal process of sealing their records, allowing them to move forward without the burden of checking the “incarceration” box on applications. Legal Aid of Arkansas and AJRC will be on site to help participants navigate this life-changing opportunity.

June 13 – Car Clinic (Time TBD, St. Paul’s Parking Lot)
For many people, a minor vehicle issue like a broken tail light can lead to legal trouble, fines, or unnecessary traffic stops. In partnership with Squire Jehagen and AJRC, this Car Clinic offers free repairs for minor infractions that might otherwise lead to citations or barriers to work and family responsibilities. At our last clinic, we were able to serve 30 vehicles but had to turn away over 70—so we're already planning a follow-up clinic in August.

Both events reflect our shared commitment to justice, dignity, and practical help for our community. If you’d like to volunteer or support these events, please contact Mac Mayfield at mayfieldmac (at) gmail (dot) com.
