Acolyte Training June 29th

Sunday, June 29, 2025
10:00 a.m. • Church

All individuals ages 12 and up are invited to join our acolyte ministry and to participate in an upcoming acolyte training session on June 29th at 10 a.m. in the church!  Serving as an acolyte each Sunday is a deeply meaningful gift to our weekly services and to the people who come to worship and participate in the Holy Eucharist.  Our training session will provide you the knowledge and skills needed to assist in our worship services, including processing and recessing, lighting candles, assisting with the Gospel reading, and supporting the Eucharist.  You'll also learn the symbolic significance of our liturgical elements, and how to perform your duties with reverence and grace.  Being an acolyte is a great way to deepen your faith, grow spiritually, learn our church's traditions, and actively participate in our weekly services.  We look forward to seeing you June 29th, 10 a.m. in the church!  Please reach out to Linda Jones, lcjones (at) uark (dot) edu, if you have any questions.
